Most of the time, HRAs reimburse a portion of the expenses that applied to the deductible under your medical plan. Each HRA is unique and specific to your employer's plan.

When HRA claims are processed, you will receive an Explanation of Benefits showing your remaining balance.
Getting HRA Reimbursements Custom Design Benefits will send you a check for the amount due which is then used to pay your healthcare expenses. We normally issue checks on a weekly basis.
