A recent investigation by The Enquirer revealed stark pricing disparities for common procedures among different hospitals in the Cincinnati region. For example, prices for a total knee replacement without insurance ranged from $23,509 to $48,490, and a gallbladder removal varied from $9,232 to $30,571.
