Your HRA (Health Reimbursement Arrangements)

Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs) are employer-funded accounts used to supplement the primary healthcare insurance coverage offered.

Most of the time, HRAs reimburse a portion of the expenses that applied to the deductible under your medical plan. Each HRA is unique and specific to your employer's plan.

Checking Your HRA Balance

There are several ways to view your HRA or check your balance:
  • Call us at 800-598-2929 or 513-598-2929 (Local Cincinnati area). We are available Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST.

  • Login to Custom Flex. If you have trouble logging in, please call us.

  • Review your Explanation of Benefits. HRA Reimbursements include an Explanation of Benefits attached to the check showing any remaining balance.

Getting HRA Reimbursements

Custom Design Benefits will send you a check for the amount due which is then used to pay your healthcare expenses. We normally issue checks on a weekly basis.

There are 2 ways to get HRA reimbursements from Custom Design Benefits:

  • Live Check sent to employee's home address

  • Direct Deposit of Reimbursements, if offered by your employer. You can sign up for Direct Deposit at any time. Please complete our Direct Deposit Form (located under FORMS & FAQs) and send or email it to Custom Design Benefits.
